Situation around fortress town Bakhmut remains still highly difficult.

Border guards as a part of Defence Forces of Ukraine are conducting combat operations with numerous units of russian mercenaries and russian Armed Forces.

The enemy was attacking our defender’s stronghold 2 times during the day. At the same time, the enemy artillery and mortars were striking from the morning till evening.

The assault of front line was conducted by the forces of “wagner” private military company (PMC). The first attempt of attack the enemy fulfilled in the afternoon and the second one they realized in the dusk.

Both attacks were failed. Border guards stopped the enemy infantry with the fire of small arms and grenade launchers. Suffering casualties the enemy was forced to retreat. Approximately, 5 mercenaries were killed and 4 more injured.
