Ukrainian defense forces, including units of the State Border Guard Service, are engaged in fierce battles with Russian occupying forces for the fortress city of Bakhmut.

Recently, a border unit of the Luhansk detachment fought a positional battle with enemy forces in the area of one of the industrial enterprises. The day before, Ukrainian defenders withstood several assault attacks by invaders. In order to continue the offensive, Russian mercenaries entrenched themselves in one of the workshops and accumulated forces.

To destroy the occupiers' stronghold, border guards launched a counterattack. Thus, our fighters from the SPG-9 stationary grenade launcher destroyed a machine gunner who covered the approach to the structure. A ground reconnaissance group of border guards broke through and eliminated Wagner mercenaries.

To strike at the enemy's reserve, border guards set up an ambush. As darkness fell, a surprise awaited the stormtroopers who were approaching the front line. Border sniper units neutralized six occupiers.
