The Ukrainian-American training continues the phase of coordination at sea, classes in underwater search, exercises of inspection and assault groups.

Personnel ships and boats of the Maritime Guard of the State Border Guard Service took the sea and the Danube River for the purpose of the combat coordination development as part of international tactical groups.

Meanwhile, a diving camp with five training places has been set up in the Practical harbor of the Port of Odesa.

Participants of the diving component are divided into groups and undergo alternate training and exchange of experience. Instructors from Latvia, Poland, the USA and other countries work with them. Divers practice submergence and examining the underwater part of the ship's hull, working with simulators of explosive objects under water, examining a sunken object, and lifting loads from under water. Participants also study various diving equipment, features of its use and assistance to an emergency diver in case of an unusual situation. The personnel of the Special Actions Department of Izmail Marine Guard detachment take part in international diving trainings for the first time, and their colleagues from Odesa and Mariupol detachments are more experienced. Nevertheless, taking advantage of this unique opportunity, all diving specialists are equally carefully trained and share their experience, with foreign colleagues included.

Inspection teams' trainings are conducted by the experienced instructors from the NATO Operational Training Center for training inspection teams in Greece. Both in theory and in practice, the issues of ensuring the task fulfillment and human life support are considered. Inspection and assault operations have their own characteristics and limitation. Under their Greek colleagues' guidance, inspection teams practice disembarking from a small boat to a high-breasted vessel using an assault ladder and the subtleties of examining ship premises in conditions of a possible threat to the inspector's life. As part of the counter-sabotage component, “specialists” practice non-parashut landing from a helicopter using a special launching arrangement SUR.
