At the Boryspil checkpoint, according to the operative information of the border guards of the Main Operative-Search Department of the separate checkpoint Kyiv, together with customs officers, they found almost a kilogram of jewels.

Two Ukrainians born in 1951 and 2001 tried to import goods into Ukraine violating the law. They arrived by flight from Doha (Qatar).

During a search of the passengers' luggage, police found 146 items of silver inlaid with diamonds of various sizes, 25 items of gold, as well as diamonds and other precious stones, and 12 diamonds that had the appropriate supporting documents. The Ukrainians transported the jewels in suitcases among clothes. The value of the detected jewels is being determined. A report on violation of customs rules has been drawn up against the citizens of Ukraine.
