In recent weeks, on the basis of the Kharkiv Separate Aviation Squadron, under the guidance of a French instructor, regular flight drills are being held. They are the final stage in the training of pilots-instructors, who will further train flight crew to fly the Airbus H125.

During the theoretical classes and training flights, a foreign specialist praised the training level of the Kharkiv Separate Aviation Squadron flight crew. The pilots showed a high level of flight skills and theoretical knowledge about the operation of helicopters and mastering practical exercises in piloting.

It should be reminded, more than a year ago the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine received two H125 helicopters from the French company Airbus Helicopter. In order to ensure the use of the obtained machines, on the basis of the manufacturer, border guard pilots, who can fly Airbus H125, trained in France in advance under the guidance of experienced instructors of Airbus Helicopter, as well as mechanics who are able to ensure proper technical maintenance.

The new helicopters have proven their efficiency and economy at the border agency. They flew for almost 400 hours. In 2020, they were mainly used for flight and technical training. At the same time, the training was often combined with aerial monitoring of one or another section of the state border of Ukraine.

It should also be noted that within the framework of the intergovernmental agreement with the French Republic and the implementation of the investment project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to create a unified aviation security and civil protection system, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine expects to receive 24 new Airbus H125 helicopters.

Given the prospect of expanding the fleet, the State Border Guard Service invites pilots who are willing and able to guard the Ukrainian border on modern and reliable helicopters.
