In Malgrat de Mar, Spain, the European Combat Ju Jutsu Championship took place.

Nazarii, a junior lieutenant from the Kharkiv Border Guard Detachment, secured three medals for Ukraine in the weight categories up to 77 kg, veterans. He won silver in ground fight (grappling), silver in close contact (stand-up fighting), and silver in full contact.

Before russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Nazarii ran a family business in real estate, dedicated time to exploring the world, self-improvement, and practicing his favorite martial arts.

At the beginning of the war, Nazarii and his wife engaged in volunteer activities, striving to support the military in their fight against the occupiers. In late 2022, although far from military service, Nazarii decided to join the ranks of Ukraine's Defense Forces. He traveled to Kyiv, where he completed junior officer training courses. By March 2023, he took the oath of allegiance to the Ukrainian people, and in June, he donned the green beret.

Currently, Nazarii trains soldiers, honing their shooting skills, teaching self-defense, and sharing his expertise in close combat. Despite the intense situation in the Kharkiv region and his busy schedule, Nazarii never misses a training session, using every free moment to devote himself to sports.
