Benefactors from Spain handed over 23 cars to Ukrainian defenders

Another batch of medical vehicles from the Kingdom of Spain arrived in Ukraine.

The ceremonial handover of the vehicles took place in Lviv near the regional military administration with the participation of Spanish benefactors, the Head of the Western Regional Directorate of SBGSU, Victor Babuk and the Head of the region, Maxim Kozitsky.

Another 23 cars were handed over to Ukraine as humanitarian aid - 19 "speed" cars and 4 pickup trucks. The cars were distributed among several law enforcement agencies. The lion's share of cars for transportation of the sick and wounded will strengthen the border guard agency, which this time has been assigned 22 cars - 19 were received today, three more "ambulances" will arrive soon.

"The ambulances arrived not empty, but loaded with medical supplies, communications equipment and office equipment.

"After russia attacked on Ukraine, the entire civilized world revolted against the aggressor country. Humanitarian aid is being delivered to Ukraine from all corners of the EU and the world through the BCPs on the western border. We are sincerely grateful to the Spanish people for the helping hand and the cars that will save many lives," said Viktor Babiuk.

For their significant contribution to the cause of the victory over the occupiers, the benefactors awarded by the Head of the border guard agency, the Head of the Western Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service, and the Head of the Lviv Regional Government.

At the end of the meeting the guests were presented with the state flag of Ukraine. They responded by presenting the flag of the city of Leon.

This action has been implemented for the fourth time thanks to the fruitful cooperation of the medical units of the State Border Guard Service with medical institutions of the Kingdom of Spain. The provision and delivery of the cars took place within the framework of the campaign implemented by the "CaixaBank Volunteers Association", "Messengers of Peace" Association", the Santa Clara Monastery Foundation with the direct participation of the head of this charity organization, Sister Lucia.
