Border guards of Mohyliv-Podilskyi BG Detachment found a car with Ukrainian registration that is on the international wanted list

A 53-year-old Ukrainian citizen was heading to Moldova in a Hyundai Sonata car. However, during the border control at the Mohyliv-Podilskyi BCP, the border guard information system showed an alert for the vehicle. According to the alert the car with that VIN was registered as stolen in the Interpol database.

The case was reported by the border guards to the Ukrainian Interpol Bureau. In its turn, the Bureau confirmed that the vehicle has been internationally wanted since March of this year, as it was stolen in Ukraine.

Currently, the driver and the car have been handed over to the representatives of the National Police for further verification and legal action.
