As part of the Khmelnytskyi region team, cadets of the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine participated in the Sambo Wrestling Cup of Ukraine, held in Kyiv from February 1 to 3.

For the first time, the Ukrainian Cup included four individual disciplines: in addition to the traditional sports sambo events for men and women, combat sambo for men was joined by women's combat sambo.

Cadets from the Faculty of Operational and Service Activities brought three medals from the competition: one gold and two bronze medals. Another medal for third place was won by a representative from the Faculty of Law Enforcement Activities.

Overall, the Khmelnytskyi region took the first team place in these competitions.
