The suspicious man was detected last night by the border detail of the Diakove division of the Mukachevo BG detachment. The traveller began to flee and reached the border engineering structures on the border with Hungary and tried to overcome the barrier fence.

The man was without documents. He called himself a citizen of Ukraine and said that he was going on a date, got lost, and when he saw the border guards at night, he got scared and started running away.

It is interesting that, the man had a backpack with a set of unusual items for the date. There were change of clothes, a bottle of beer, a loaf of bread, mayonnaise and cigarettes.

During the inspection, border guards managed to identify the detainee - he turned out to be a 31-year-old citizen of Ukraine. It also became known that the man is suspected of committing a crime under Art. 121 of the Criminal Code “Intentional grievous bodily harm”, which caused the death of the victim.

Most likely, the real reason for the man's appearance at the border is to enter Hungary illegally to avoid criminal liability. Currently, the detainee has been brought to administrative responsibility for violating the border regime and malicious disobedience to the lawful order of border guards and has been handed over to the National Police.
