Principles of Integrated Border Management continuous be implemented in Ukraine.

The meeting between advisors of EU and representatives of Integrated Border Management subjects was held at the Administration of the SBGSU.

During the party participants were informed about the results of the first meeting of Interdepartmental Group headed by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze.

The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the procedure for elaboration of the Strategy of IBM and its implementation plan. The members of the group of international experts made separate recommendations and suggestions on this issue. It should be noted that the draft Strategy will be developed on the basis of European Integrated Border Management principles.

Besides, the representatives of IBM subjects agreed on the procedure for conducting thematic meetings on development of the draft Strategy.

The participants of the meeting expressed readiness consolidate efforts to prepare strategic documents within the timeframe set by the Chairman of the Interdepartmental Working Group on Coordination of Integrated Border Management.
