At 1 a.m. unknown people in military and civilian dress appeared near the location of "Masandra" mobile border guard unit. Soon another 20 people in military uniform with automatic weapon and rocket-propelled grenades surrounded the unit. Departure from the territory had been blocked by "KAMAZ" vehicle. Border guards immediately took up defensive dispositions across the military camp to push back the attackers. Border guards flatly refused to hand over. Then blocking was temporarily stopped. Currently, attackers keep watch over the border unit.

The second attack was against “Yevpatoria” border guard division. At 3 a.m. eight "UAZ", "Gazelle", "Kamaz" and "Tiger" vehicles with 50 armed men in uniform came to the unit. Access road to the unit area was blocked by "KAMAZ" vehicle, the other vehicles enter the military camp territory after the assault. The attackers broke into the premises of border guard division. Border guards didn’t allow attackers to enter weapons storage rooms and border management system center.

Currently, negotiations are continuing, armed attackers attempt to put pressure on border guards and demand to go over to the self-proclaimed government of Crimea.
