A foreigner with a foreign car was chased by Interpol.

An international database alerted at Boryspil BCP during passport control of an Israeli citizen born in 1983.

It turned out that the foreigner was chased by French law enforcement agencies for committing a crime related to fraud, use of false information and abuse of trust.

Besides, at Porubne BCP on the border with Romania, border guards of Chernivtsi detachment found a Volkswagen entering Ukraine. It has been established that the car with Romanian registration has been searched by Norwegian law enforcement agencies since November 2019.

The foreigner and the car were handed over to the National Police, the Interpol representative in Kyiv was informed.

It should be noted that during 2020, border guards carried out 1,509 Interpol operations, including 628 concerning persons, 59 for vehicles and 822 for passport documents.
