A 26-year-old Algerian citizen attempted to cross an engineering roadblock at the Krasnoilsk BGD section to get into Romania illegally, bypassing border crossing points.

At the time of his detention, the foreigner had managed to damage his clothes on the edge of the fence. He was lucky, because there was a high risk of serious injury from trying to get through without being noticed.

It later turned out that the man arrived in Ukraine by plane in early spring of this year to study. However, he decided to enter France illegally in search of a better life.
