The Personnel Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine continues to work together on the collective training of units.

From March 15 to April 30, 2021, the Rapid Response Border Command units of the Sumy Border Guard Detachment and 24 Separate Mechanized Brigade of the WEST OC of the AFU Army underwent a training course as part of training JMTG-U (Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine).

During these two months, the border guards learned to work out the unit management while participating in defensive actions with counterattacks in the areas of enemy invasion and performing tasks in the course of stabilization actions in the area of ​​responsibility.

So far, 18 servicemen have received certificates of training according to NATO standards (MDMP course), including 6 teaching officers of the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service. 12 students of the Faculty of Management Training learned the principles of operation of the border Commandant’s office of rapid response while performing the tasks with units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At the end of the training, the organization and the final level of preparedness of the unit were assessed by the leaders of the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security as “READY”.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine keeps up acquiring operational capabilities jointly with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Joint training activities allow to organize fruitful interaction and be compatible on a battlefield.
