State Border Guard Service of Ukraine claims that widespread report in Russian media about 15 Ukrainian border guards who allegedly asked for asylum in Russia because repression of “Right Sector” is not true.

It is a blatant lie and just another provocation aimed to destabilize the situation in the region.

We emphasize that all border guards without exception, who on June 21^st while armed conflict with terrorists at “Izvaryne” border crossing point (Luhansk region) had to drop back with fighting to “Donetsk” border crossing point (Russian territory), returned to Ukraine through another border crossing point and again came to the protection of the state border of Ukraine.
