As previously reported, yesterday the protests by local inhabitants and attempts of border guard units blocking around the number of Donetsk border guard detachment’s units took place.

After negotiations with the protesters and explaining that all the units perform tasks on state border protection within their sectors of responsibility and serve in a strengthened variant with the maximum use of all available forces and facilities, they have gradually dispersed.

Such protestors’ actions were caused by provocative information about the alleged redeployment of Donetsk border guard detachment to Dnipropetrovsk in order to reform it to the troops under the umbrella of “Right sector” and foreign instructors spread in web-based media and social networks.
