On September 13, a working meeting took place at the Administration of the State Border Guard Service between the Acting Head of the State Border Guard Service, Volodymyr Nikiforenko, and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between the border agency of Ukraine and law enforcement authorities of the Republic of Moldova.

Both sides acknowledged the high level of interaction between the border agencies and discussed the situation and further steps for the development of border infrastructure along the Ukrainian-Moldovan section of the state border.

Volodymyr Nikiforenko expressed gratitude to the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador for the consistent support of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

For their part, the Moldovan side confirmed their readiness to deepen cooperation in the field of regional security, introduce new initiatives, and implement joint projects.
