At the BCP "Krakivets" in Lviv region, border guards did not let a 21-year-old Ukrainian to Poland.

To cross the border, in addition to a passport, the man presented a pension certificate to the border control inspector. During the inspection, border guards found out that the document had signs of forgery.

After being refused to cross the state border, the man admitted that he had bought the "pensioner status" from unknown persons, because he intended to get to the EU. The detection did not stop the evader, he tried to "resolve the issue" by bribery. The border guards refused the offer of a bribe in the amount of 500 euros.

The report of a criminal offense under Art. 369 of the Criminal Code "Offer or giving of an illegal benefit to an official" was sent to the competent law enforcement agencies. Also, the man will be held liable for using forged documents when crossing the border.

The citizen of Ukraine was handed over to the National Police officers for further legal decision.
