A citizen made a "hand-made" vest – to smuggle US dollars and euros across the border.

The craftswoman put in her product not only a piece of herself, but also a considerable amount of foreign currency.

Today in the morning, at the BCP "Rava-Ruska", border guards of the Lviv Detachment stopped for inspection a bus that was heading from Enerhodar to Warsaw.

The attention of border guards and customs officers was drawn to one of the passengers – a 48-year-old citizen of Ukraine. She was invited for an additional interview and inspection.

It turned out that the woman was carrying a large amount of foreign currency under her clothes, in a specially made vest, hidden from control.

Currently, the money is being counted, and all the circumstances of the offense are being established.

Customs officers will draw up a report on violation of customs rules over this fact, and the money will be withdrawn according to the law.
