The attempt to illegally import goods was stopped at the "Krakivets" checkpoint, at the initiative of the operational-search unit of the border guards.

The 44-year-old driver of the "MAN" truck arrived at the Ukrainian border entry. According to the documents provided for inspection, the truck was transporting textile products worth over 36,000 euros across the border. During the inspection, the border guards, in cooperation with customs officers, found that the weight of the cargo did not match the information stated in the documents and exceeded it by 2,760 kg.

A protocol was drawn up in connection with this incident, and the undeclared goods were confiscated by customs officers. The market value of the goods is approximately 500,000 UAH.
