A service dog helped find marijuana in traveller’s underwear and socks

During the inspection of the Skadovsk-Szczecin bus at the Krakivets BCP, a passenger was revealed who was carrying drugs to Poland.

During an advanced inspection of the vehicle, border guards of the Lviv BG Detachment together with customs officials found three packages with a gray-green substance with the help of a service dog. The passenger of the bus hid them on his body and among his personal belongings.

As the traveller explained himself, the hidden packages, which weighed almost 150 grams, were filled with marijuana. He tucked two behind his underwear belt. Another package was hidden in a sock in the traveller’s bag.

According to this fact, the operative officers of the border guard detachment sent a message about the detection of signs of a criminal offense.
