Recently, servicemen of the Kyiv Separate Border Crossing Point have detained an internationally wanted foreigner at Boryspil airport.

The man was going to board the plane to the UAE and, while checking the passengers of the flight, the Interpol database alerted on the Pole's documents. In the database there was a notification – to arrest at detection.

Border guards immediately detained a Polish citizen and notified the Ukrainian bureau of Interpol in Kyiv; its personnel confirmed that he was wanted indeed.

It turned out that last week, after the arrival of the foreigner in Ukraine, Polish law enforcement agencies declared him internationally wanted for forgery, fraud and organized crime.

The person was handed over to the National Police for further extradition to Poland.
