The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine continues activities on national-patriotic education of children and youth, career guidance work and popularization of the border agency in society.

The All-Ukrainian training “Dzhura-Border Guard” continues in the Cynological Training Center of the State Border Guard Service and the 7th Carpathian Border Detachment.

On the first day, the young patriots showed excellent results in performing exercises of shooting with real weapons, searching for traces of violators of the state border on the control trail zone.

At this time, the cadets continue to get acquainted with the border agency, modern technologies of state border protection, improve their border guard skills, perform shooting exercises, acquire the skills of providing first aid to the wounded on the battlefield.

It should be mentioned that the training was organized and conducted by the Personnel Department of the State Border Guard Service Administration in close cooperation with the Department of National and Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Lviv Regional State Administration.

This year, at the request of quarantine restrictions, the number of participants in the training was reduced, all participants were provided with masks with the symbols of the training. In total, more than 300 participants joined the event.

The training presents four hundreds: “Warriors”, “Cossacks”, “Borders” and “Border Guards”, which represent different periods of state formation and formation of border guards in the times of Kyiv Rus, the Cossacks, the Ukrainian People's Republic and today.

By the way, the hundred “Border Guards” has the honorary title “In the Name of the Hero of Ukraine, Colonel Yevhen PIKUS”, who died in August 2014 defending the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
