A mobile forensic laboratory has recently arrived at the Mukachevo and Chop border guard detachments to detect false documents.

Experts from the Main Forensic Centre told border guards about innovative methods and techniques used by violators to forge or illegally produce passports and other documents.

In addition, the participants of the training had the opportunity to get acquainted in practice with the work of a mobile forensic laboratory for document examination, which works on the basis of a Volkswagen Crafter minibus. This laboratory enables to effectively detect all possible types of counterfeits. It is equipped with a modern camera, a powerful laptop, spare batteries, a diesel generator, a radio station, a mobile video surveillance system that is able to recognize faces and the slightest signs of forgery in real time.
