During an in-depth inspection of a Mercedes minibus carrying a 24-year-old Lviv resident on its way out of Ukraine, a joint inspection team of border guards and customs officers found 220 packs of tobacco products of various brands under the interior trim.
The Ukrainian drove Ukrainian workers from Lviv to Italy, who had to interrupt their journey due to the driver's tricks.
Cigarettes and a minibus were confiscated from the “unfortunate” smuggler. Their assessment amount is currently being determined.
