The State Border Guard Service Administration hosted a regular meeting of the Virtual Contact Analytical Center (VCAC) on Integrated Border Management.

The participants, subjects of integrated border management, discussed preparation for the forthcoming meeting of the interagency working group, the ways of solving the problematic aspects in the issue of counteracting the illegal crossing of the state border by aircrafts. The participants also defined a list of automated information systems, containing data necessary for the subjects of integrated border management, in order to accomplish their tasks and organize access to them.

It should be mentioned that the VCAC was established in September 2015, which, in addition to border guards, includes representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ministry of Finance and the Security Service of Ukraine.

A draft action plan of the Interagency Working Group on Integrated Border Management Coordination was presented during the event.

Summing up the meeting, Director of the Department for Organization of Work, Planning and Control Andrii VIIHTIUK emphasized the importance of resolving these issues with the joint efforts of all subjects of integrated border management.
