Border guards together with the representatives of the custom service stopped the attempt at illegal transportation of tobacco products at the “Shehyni” border crossing point in Lviv region.

64-years old citizen of Ukraine was moving to a neighboring country by minibus “Reno”. According to the risk analysis the vehicle was directed for further verification. Law enforcement officers with the help of a service dog found hidden tobacco products. The man hid under the covering of the automobile over 1100 packs of cigarettes.

Law enforcement officers seized the tobacco products and the minibus.
