Recently, during the patrolling, a squad of the Shehyni department found a Ford car a few hundred meters from the border. Three people just got out of the car and headed towards the state border. Border guards detained them immediately.

It was later revealed that the passengers of the "Ford" and the driver were Turkish citizens aged between 20 and 42. “Intourists” presented passport documents, but could not clearly explain the purpose and route of their journey.

All four detainees were taken to the border unit to clear up the details of the law offense and compilation of administrative materials.

Police later established that a 42-year-old Turkish citizen, the driver of the Ford, was the organizer of a “trip” for his fellow citizens to the EU.

During the days investigators of the territorial police department under the procedural guidance of the Horodok local prosecutor's office informed the organizer, a 42-year-old foreigner, about the suspicion of committing a crime.

Currently, Mostytskyi District Court has chosen a measure of restraint for the suspect - detention for a period of 60 days, with the right to bail in the amount of 136,200 hryvnias. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.

Three other foreigners who intended to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine were forcibly returned to their country of origin.
