Citizen of Russian Federation, who was travelling to eastern regions of Ukraine to destabi

Today, citizen of Russian Federation, who was travelling to eastern regions of Ukraine to destabilize the situation and participate in illegal armed formations, was detained by border guard patrol in Kharkiv at the station “Pasazhyrskyi”.

39-year-old citizen of Russian Federation couldn’t clearly confirm the purpose of his trip to Ukraine. During additional border control procedures it was found out that he was a sniper during the first and second Chechen campaigns and recently have passed the instruction and intensive training in Rostov-on-Don.

Currently, the detainee is transferred to representatives of the State Security Service of Ukraine to clarify all details of the offence.
