Near the border with Belarus the border guards in cooperation with the National Police, with the involvement of the canine service and explosives experts, discovered a cache of weapons, equipped by the occupying forces of the russian federation

During the inspection of the area, in a forest strip near one of the Ripky community settlement, law enforcement officers discovered and seized a wooden box with more than 1,600 5.45 mm caliber cartridges, a zinc box with more than four hundred 7.62 mm caliber cartridges, and one reactive anti-tank grenade RPG-22 and one RPG-26. Also F-1 grenade case without a fuse, three RGD-5 grenade cases without a fuse, four UZRGM fuses, one GP-25 underbarrel grenade launcher, two anti-tank mines with detonators were found in the cache. In addition to the ammunition, the cache also contained the clothes of the military personnel of the russian armed forces.

The law enforcement officers seized the findings. Specialists will check weapons and ammunition for suitability for use and hand them over to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
