The border guard had to stop the “generous” foreigner with the words “Stop, sir!”.
The passenger on a flight from Istanbul, who was not legally allowed into Ukraine, tried to persuade border guards to change their minds offering a bribe. But he clearly understood that he was acting improperly.
The attempt to provide an illegal benefit to the border guard was documented by the internal security officers, the State Border Guard Service and the National Police representatives. The bribe-giver was banned from entering Ukraine for 3 years.
