During the week of November 07th until 11th, the Administration of State Border Guard Service of Ukraine continued to work with the group of experts of the National Border agencies of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Poland and Lithuania within the European Twinning Project implementation.
During this activity, the experts focused on consultation with professional organizations, NGOs and international SBGSU partners to evaluate the achieved results, the methodologies for evaluation and future directions of Ukrainian IBM, as per the project implementation plan. Within this scope they met with various national and international SBGSU partners, especially within the “European Family”. The exchange of information was open and constructive and a promising signal for the upcoming activities. This was particularly noted during the opportunity to attend the “Virtual Contact Analytical Centre” meeting followed by a round table discussion with members of this panel from various National institutions involved in IBM.
The next activity within the Twinning Project is scheduled to focus on the analysis of the legislation related to
vehicles border checks including legal instruments concerning countering stolen vehicles trafficking.
