The world ice hockey championship will take place in Kyiv during April 22-28,2017. Except Ukraine, 5 national teams will take part in the games of the First Division, Group “A”.

The world ice hockey championship will take place in Kyiv during April 22-28,2017. Except Ukraine, 5 national teams will take part in the games of  the First Division, Group “A”.

This night at the “Boryspil checkpoint servicemen of the SBGS registered the North Korean national team which was the first to arrive for the men world ice hockey championship in Ukraine.  A team of 37 people arrived on the flight “Paris-Kyiv” in order to participate in the world ice hockey championship. The first match will be held in Kyiv (Palats Sporty) on April, 22.

The national teams of Austria, Hungary, Poland and Kazakhstan will arrive tomorrow. Moreover, authorized representatives of the International Ice Hockey Federation and its partners will also arrive in Kyiv tomorrow. Besides, it is expected the arrival of several thousands of fans.

During the preparations for the hosting of world ice hockey championship, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine together with the Fiscal Service and organizing committee undertook  number of activities, worked out the procedures of border and customs control for the guests and participators of the championship. Special attention will be payed to security sector and maintenance of law and order at checkpoints.
