The Velikopysariv, Krasnopil, Khotyn, Bilopol, Shalygin, Novoslobid, Esman, and Seredino-Bud communities of the Sumy region and the Snov community of the Chernihiv region came under enemy fire.

On the morning of July 16, an enemy aircraft fired 4 rockets at the territory of the Esman community. Later, for two hours, the enemy shelled the outskirts of the settlement of the same community with anti-aircraft guns and barrel artillery. More than 40 explosions were recorded. Civilian infrastructure and residential buildings were damaged.

Several settlements of the Bilopol community came under artillery fire in the first half of the day. In total, in two cases, about 15 shells had come.

Later, in two cases, the enemy fired 120-mm mortars on the territory of the Bilopolska and Velikopysariv communities - 6 and 4 «incomings», and 10 «incomings» with 82-mm mortars on the territory of the Krasnopil community.

During the day, Russia shelled the Shalyginsk community three times with the use of self-propelled guns, grenade launchers, and large-caliber machine guns.

In the direction of the Seredino-Budsk community, the enemy opened fire twice, using 120 mm mortars, heavy machine guns and AGS.

Closer to the evening, the occupiers opened fire from small arms on the territory of the Khotyn community.

The enemy shelled the Snovsk community in Chernihiv region with barrel artillery, 12 explosions were recorded.

In addition, on the territory of Bilopolska and Velikopysarivska communities, the enemy conducted aerial reconnaissance using a reconnaissance aircraft.

In all directions, the enemy is actively using UAVs and means of radio-electronic warfare.
