Border guards of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi detachment detained a man of draft age who tried to ‘negotiate’ with law enforcement officers about crossing the border.

A 40-year-old man from Kharkiv, during border control, provided a temporary certificate of conscript and notarized copies of documents on studying abroad. However, during the inspection of the documents, the border guards had doubts about their validity.

As it turned out, the training documents were fictitious and ordered through one of the "firms" on the Internet.

Realizing that he would not be able to cross the border in this way, the man offered the border guards 2,000 US dollars.

The border guards refused and handed the person over to the National Police.

The man will be liable under the articles of the Criminal Code regarding providing an illegal benefit to an official, forging documents and evading the draft for mobilization.
