The border of Sumy and Chernihiv regions is under enemy fire

Yesterday, February 2, the russian occupying forces continued their criminal tactics of shelling the Ukrainian border.

The enemy fired using grenade launchers, small arms, MLRS and mortars. Bilopillia, Seredyna-Buda, Shalyhyne and Esman communities of Sumy Oblast, Semenivka and Novhorod-Siverskyi communities of Chernihiv Oblast came under enemy fire.

In the morning the russian occupiers covered the territory of Bilopillia community with mortars. There were more than two dozen explosions. In the evening, fifty shots from a 30-mm automatic grenade launcher and several shots from small arms rang out in the border area of the same community. The fire came from the russian settlements of krasnooktiabrskyi and volfino.

In Seredyna-Buda community, there was a mortar shelling from the side of the enemy settlement of hrudsk, 4 hits were recorded. As a result of shelling, 2 private houses were damaged.

In the afternoon, the enemy covered the territory of Shalyhyne community with rocket launchers from the russian settlement of kozyne. In total there were about two dozen explosions.

Along the border of Esman community, the enemy fired with a mortar three times, there were 18 hits. The fire came from the russian settlements of elkot, lemeshivka and troiebortne. As a result of shelling, 4 private houses, a former kindergarten building and a tractor in the yard were damaged.

In addition, six mine explosions were also heard in the border area of Novhorod-Siverskyi community. The fire started from the russian settlement of pogar.

Also, the russian invaders fired three times with 120 mm mortars on the territory of Semenivka community, 17 explosions rang out. The fire came from the russian settlements of brovnychi, novyi ropsk and lomakivka.

According to the results of shelling, fortunately there were no casualties.

The Defense Forces continue to protect Ukraine from russian invaders.
