Fugitive violators were the people who helped border guards to find a cache of cigarettes.

A patrol of Dilove BG Division of Mukachevo border guard detachment found a group of people who tried to illegally cross the Romanian border.

During the arrest attempt, the violators fled and ran into the private yard of a resident that lives in  the border area. The State Border Guard Service Employees examined the yard with the permission of her owner. The violators have already fled from neighboring vegetable gardens, but left a considerable batch of contraband goods. In the basement of the supply building, the servicemen found 15 packages wrapped in polyethylene. Later, border guards counted 7,414 packs of cigarettes without excise tax stamps of Ukraine.

Employees of the National Police and the State Fiscal Service were called to the identified warehouse of smugglers. Border guards sent a message to the State Fiscal Service in the Transcarpathian region about the detection of signs of a crime.

Tobacco products were delivered to Dilove Border Guard Division, and later they would be handed over to the SFS employees.
