Servicemen of the Luhansk Border Guard Detachment counteract the accumulation and filling of outlets with counterfeit goods.

Recently, law enforcement officials stopped attempts of dealers to fill outlets in the area of Joint Forces Operation with a consignment of counterfeit cigarettes.

Interagency group of the Luhansk border guard detachment officers, the Armed Forces and the Security Service of Ukraine in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska settlement exposed six people who tried to transport 23 boxes containing cigarettes manufactured by one of the factorie. The crossing took place across the Siverskyi Donets River from the temporarily occupied territory to the controlled territory of Ukraine.

The detainees explained that they shipped the boxes for further sale and to receive a monetary reward.

Further operational and investigative actions are underway.
