Border guards strictly keep up with the demand of legislation on border issues, as well as the restrictions imposed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on preventing the spread of COVID-19.

It should be noted that amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No.641 of July 22, 2020 on establishing quarantine and introducing enhanced anti-epidemic measures in the territory with a significant spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.

The key provisions of the document strengthen the list of restrictions on the entry of foreigners into Ukraine. At the same time, a list of exceptions has been established, which includes, in particular, foreigners - children of citizens of Ukraine, as well as foreigners traveling to Ukraine for humanitarian purposes.

The State Border Guard Service appeals to all travellers and asks them to understand the need for border guards to perform their duties.

At the same time, we draw your attention to the fact that every day an average of 5.5 thousand foreigners cross the state border of Ukraine and only about 100 people a day are denied crossing the state border due to lack of relevant documents, non-compliance with the categories of exceptions, or failure to confirm the purpose of trip.
