The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has completed the next stage of acceptance of light multi-purpose helicopters type H125 manufactured by AIRBUS HELICOPTERS

The first helicopters equipped with powerful video cameras, including thermal imaging, have already made flights for aerial monitoring of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border. In addition to excellent flight characteristics, helicopter monitoring equipment has shown the ability to effectively monitor the situation from a considerable distance, to conduct video recording of the situation.

 It will be recalled that the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has been using AIRBUS H125 to ensure its service activities since the beginning of 2020. However, the five helicopters that arrived for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in November-December 2021 have significant advantages. They are equipped with an optoelectronic surveillance system that allows monitoring, including in the infrared mode. The thermal imaging camera allows you to detect a vehicle at a distance of up to 20 kilometers. The equipment allows not only to record video in high quality, but also with the help of satellite equipment to transmit it in real time. Helicopters are also equipped with a warning system with loudspeakers and specialized aviation searchlights, which can be used synchronously with the system of optoelectronic surveillance.

Maneuverability and carrying capacity of H125 helicopters allow to perform flights with operational groups on board, and the latest models of radio equipment - to maintain operational interaction and coordinate border patrols performing tasks to protect the State Border of Ukraine.
