Three illegal migrants were detained yesterday by border guards of the Shehyni division of the Lviv detachment

One of the border guard patrols detected an Audi car with three Turkish citizens in it on the Lviv-Shehyni highway. The foreigners told the border guards that they were going to the Shehyni international border crossing point to cross the state border in the prescribed manner. Border guards wished the travelers a happy journey, and the car went to the border crossing point…

This should have been the ideal scenario for this trip, at least according to the version voiced by foreigners to border guards. But it is not easy to outwit the border guards. The district inspector of the border guard service conducted surveillance and soon the response team stopped the same car for inspection that changed direction and was rapidly approaching the state border line, instead of the established border crossing point.

Border guards found out that foreigners had lied and tried to leave our country illegally. In addition, the travelers admitted that they wanted to enter the territory of the European Union without the necessary documents.

The violators were taken to the border guard unit.
