Unidentified people moving towards the state border were detected near the border with Russia.

Four foreigners and a citizen of Ukraine were detained near the village of Krasnyi Derkul, Shchastia region, by servicemen of the Luhansk Border Guard Detachment in cooperation with officers of the SSU in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts and the GUNP UMP in Luhansk oblast. Four detainees, who made their way across the border in the dark, were Azerbaijani citizens, and the fifth was our compatriot, who accompanied foreigners so that they would not get lost while traveling and cross the border without hindrance.

Clearing up the circumstances of the offense, law enforcement officers found that foreigners dared to cross the border illegally due to the ban on entering Russia, and our compatriot helped them in this.

Border guards drew up reports on administrative offenses on this fact. Investigative police have launched criminal proceedings over the fact of illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine. There is an investigation into the case under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office.
