Border guards received information about a possible intrusion of a group of people outside the checkpoints into the forbidden territory and reported immediately about this to the National Police.

That night during joint operations, the border guards of Ivankiv division of Zhytomyr BG detachment and officers of the National Police detained 4 people, who entered the exclusion zone and the zone of unconditional (compulsory) resettlement without any control.

Border guards received information about a possible intrusion of a group of people outside the checkpoints into the forbidden territory and reported immediately about this to the National Police.

Soon the police found and detained three men and a woman in the exclusion zone. The offenders were citizens of Great Britain, Lithuania, Ukraine and the woman was a US citizen.

Foreigners entered the territory of our state legally through existing air border crossing points, and went to the Chornobyl zone for extreme sensations.

So far, the police have brought the offenders to administrative responsibility for violating the requirements of the radiation safety regime in the area that was exposed to radioactive contamination.

The issue of reducing the length of stay of foreigners on the territory of Ukraine is also being resolved.
