On November 28, border guards of the "Velyka Kisnitsa" Border Guard Department of the Mohyliv-Podilsky Border Guard Detachment discovered a 32-mm polyethylene pipeline on the bank of the river Dniester. The pipeline’s length was about 100 meters.

In the course of further activities with the representatives of the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova, border guards found a plastic pipe, laid from the Moldovan coast, which was about 30 meters long, in the river.

Usually, smugglers used such schemes to move illegal alcohol across the border.

During the verification, border guards found out that the smugglers did not have time to use the pipeline. Border guards informed law enforcement agencies about the discovery. The pipeline was dismantled and transferred to employees of the Fiscal Service.
