In Volyn, a court sentenced a Moroccan citizen for illegal transportation of Lebanese citizens across the Ukrainian-Polish border. It should be reminded that the suspect, a 21-year-old Moroccan, was detained by operative officers of Lutsk border guard Detachment jointly with the migration police in the Lyuboml region in late March.

According to law enforcement officers, he got some money to facilitate the illegal transportation of three citizens of the Republic of Lebanon across the state border of Ukraine to the Republic of Poland bypassing the established BCPs.

Thus, the court found out that a citizen of the Kingdom of Morocco, who has a temporary residence permit in Ukraine, a third-year student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, single, not previously convicted, received a suggestion on a mobile phone from an unidentified person by pre-trial investigation to assist in the illegal transportation of three citizens of the Republic of Lebanon across the border. He agreed to the offer.

Later, the man was instructed to buy three pairs of rubber boots, to find a car to take Lebanese citizens to the state border of Ukraine with the Republic of Poland. Implementing the joint agreements, a Moroccan student met with Lebanese citizens in Kyiv, handed them pairs of rubber boots to cross the state border of Ukraine to the Republic of Poland and ordered them to wait for a phone call about the day and time of departure from Kyiv.

For this trip, he asked his acquaintance to take these Lebanese by the Volkswagen Jetta car, whom he introduced as tourists, to the state border of Ukraine with the Republic of Poland. The Moroccan was to receive $ 1,200 from the citizens of the Republic of Lebanon.

Then, the driver of the car "Volkswagen Jetta", learning that the citizens of the Republic of Lebanon wanted to cross the border illegally, refused to continue driving and, without leaving the car, moved to the passenger seat. After that, a Moroccan was driving the vehicle.

The accused recognized himself guilty for the crime.

Shatsk district court of Volyn region found him guilty of committing a crime under Part 3 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code "Illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine" and sentenced him to 5 years in prison with a probation period of one year.

In addition, physical evidence - $ 1,000 and boots were confiscated from state revenue.
