As part of the criminal proceedings, law enforcement officers searched four outlets in the village of Velyka Novosilka and seized 1,564 bottles of surrogate alcohol.

Counterfeit alcoholic beverages were sold under the labels of various brands. Law enforcement officers discovered that the attackers used excise tax stamps containing signs of forgery.

The authorized searches were carried out by operatives of the State Border Guard Service together with representatives of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk region under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office.

The detected counterfeit goods, the total volume of which is almost 840 liters, were seized and estimated by the SFS at more than 240,000 hryvnias. Investigative actions continue.
