Recently, a joint interdepartmental group consisting of operatives of Lutsk Border Guard Detachment and Security Service officers conducted an authorized search in Kovel dweller's farmstead.

The search was conducted under the procedural guidance of Kovel District Prosecutor's Office in the framework of criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 199 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As a result of the measures taken in outbuildings on the territory of private housing, law enforcement officers found more than forty thousand packs of cigarettes of various brands of domestic and foreign production, which the woman intended to illegally sell to persons involved in the movement of cigarettes to EU countries.

Tobacco products were seized in accordance with the established procedure. Currently, measures are being taken to detect the persons involved in illegal activities.
