In Transcarpathia over the past day border guards of the special unit of the State Border Guard Service detained 5 violators.

A group of men of military age was stopped not far from the border, on the outskirts of the village of Nyzhnia Apsha. All of the detained are from that inhabited locality. They planned to illegally cross the border across the river Tysa.

The detained citizens were taken to the border guard division. During the inspection of their personal belongings the border guards found passports and dry change of clothes and also funds in different currencies, in particular: 5 thousand Czech crowns, 2.5 thousand dollars, 500 Euros, one thousand Romanian lei and 8 thousand hryvnias.

Administrative reports were drawn up against offenders for attempting to illegally cross the border.

Also with regard to the detection of signs of crime, the border guards sent messages to the Tyachiv department of the National Police and the Transcarpathian regional prosecutor's office. In addition, in the south of the country, border guards of Izmail unit detained three violators - men who evaded service. They tried to illegally cross the state border and made their way to Moldova through the sunflower fields. On these facts on three citizens of military age protocols on administrative offences were drawn up.
