Today, on the eve of the professional holiday, 58 servicemen of State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and their families received apartments in newly built residential building in Zhytomyr.

Today, on the eve of the professional holiday, 58 servicemen of State  Border Guard Service of Ukraine and their families received apartments in newly built  residential building in Zhytomyr.

The Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Viktor Nazarenko and the leadership of local authorities came to  greet new settlers.

It should be noted that from 2015 to 2016, 630 apartments and 192 rooms in dormitories were built, residential buildings in many cities were put into operation.

44 million USD were allocated for the construction of the residential building in Zhytomyr.

Border guards of the Northern Regional Department and Zhytomyr  Border Guard Detachment received apartments. At the same time 35 guards, who received apartments, took part in the antiterrorist operation in the east of the country.

By the end of the year it is planned to receive more than 340 apartments in Sumy, Uzhgorod, Chernihiv and Khmelnytsky. In addition, a building of apartments will be continued in Kiev and started in Odessa and Lviv. This year, 200 million hryvnias were allocated for the housing of the border guards.
